My sister Cindi and her Husband Corey became new Florida residents in July when they moved to West Palm Beach, FL. Naaman and I really hadn’t planned on traveling during Landon’s first year of life, which is a bummer because I would love to see her beautiful condo in person. However, we plan on taking a trip to Florida to visit them next August, to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. I told Cindi that I’d like to spend some time with them in WPB but would also like to have Naaman and I take a little get-away while Landon stays with his Aunt and Uncle. I had saved this Florida Keys resort link a long time ago, filed under “Places I’d Like to Go” on my computer.
Accessible only by boat or seaplane, this resort is located on its own island off of Little Torch Key. The private bungalows remind me a lot of the bungalows we had on our honeymoon only they are not over the water. It’s pricey so it may not happen but hey, a girl can dream can’t she? I have this obsession with exotic, far-off, hard to get to locations that we can’t afford. I think it has to do with getting as far away from reality as possible. So much so that you can’t even believe you were actually there once you get home.
