Landon’s First Christmas!

Sorry for the delay in posting. We have been on holiday hiatus! Landon had a wonderful first Christmas! What could be more exciting than your baby’s first Christmas? It was amazing experiencing the holiday through his eyes. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

First, let me preface this post by letting you know what a great Christmas present I got from my husband. I have been drooling over the new DSLR cameras for two years but they are just so expensive that I never thought I would get one. But the hubby came through and got me one anyway. It is amazing. The best part is there is no delay at all. When I press the button it takes the photo immediately. I was hating our point and shoot camera because I kept missing so many shots of Landon. He would smile, I would push the button, wait 5 seconds and it would capture him not smiling anymore. Lovely. Well, I will no longer have that problem anymore because Naaman got me this . . .

I love it! I can finally take the photography course I’ve been wanting to take so I can learn all about how to take better photos. And since we travel a lot it will be nice to have professional-quality photos from our trips.

We truly had the best Christmas ever! On Christmas Eve, we dressed Landon up in a cute little Santa sleeper and read him “The Night Before Christmas” which will be a tradition in our house from now on. Christmas was what it ought to be . . . full of love and laughter, family and friends. Following is a link to a slideshow since I couldn’t pick just a few photos.
