Landon’s First Easter

Sorry this post is late. I’ve been a very busy chica!

We celebrated a wonderful Easter last Sunday. Landon’s first holidays have all been so fun and Easter was no exception! It started with a glorious church service. I just love the music at our church. I love the chance to sing especially the beautiful hymns. Central Brass also played, which made it even more amazing. The sound of trumpets blared behind us and handbells surrounded the pews. And yes, Landon still slept through the entire thing. We even got the chance to witness a Baptism on Easter Sunday (a sweet baby girl named Molly). I spoke with our minister again that day about scheduling Landon’s Baptism. It’s in the works, I promise!

After church we headed up to St. Joseph to visit with Grandma Connie and Uncle Matthew. We all had a nice Easter dinner together. Landon had real potatoes and green beans straight from my plate!

The big tub of rubber balls. He enjoyed it!

This was our attempt at a Easter basket. It poured down rain all day so we couldn’t go outside. His Easter basket was a monkey to match the theme of his room.

Offering his Mama some of the green grass that was so yummy.

He didn’t really get it. Better luck next year!

And here are a few pictures of one of his new favorite things to do.

Checking out his new book shelf (yes, it’s anchored to the wall)

Discovering how much fun it is to pull all the books off of the shelf.

This picture cracks me up. He is excited about something that’s for sure!

Coming for his mama. He loves me a lot : )
