Wow, mom, the first day at the new daycare really did me in.
I mean, geez, mom. This toddler room thing is WAY more intense than the infant room.
How will I ever keep up with the big kids, mom? It’s like having 5 big brothers all at once! And now they only give me one nap!
PSYCHE! Just kidding, mom. It’s really no big deal at all. Those 18-month-olds got nothin’ on me.

It’s always harder on the moms than the kids when it comes to daycare. I’m an in-home daycare provider, so I see this a lot. He is so cute!

I think the move from the baby room to the toddler room was more traumatic for me than when we first put our little guy in the baby room at daycare! Do they really only give him one nap in the toddler room? Yikes! We had 2-3 in the beginning, then it went down to 2, and by the end of the 6 months in that room they were only giving him the 1 nap, which wasn’t enough. Even now, at 20 months, my little guy is still missing his morning “happy nap” as one of the teachers used to refer to it! He falls asleep during lunch some days as a result! But he’s happy, and active, and loves his classmates and teachers. P.S. LOVE Brigham’s new haircut!
