Steph thinks that’s pinteresting!

You guys remember how I featured some friends and their fave pins while I went on a bloggy break? Well, I think it was a nice idea so I’ve decided to keep it going. It won’t be a weekly feature or anything. I’ll just post them here and there. But I do hope you enjoy them and hey, maybe they’ll get your creative juices flowing!

I’d like to introduce you to Steph from A Grande Life. She’s a mama to two handsome boys so we have that in common! Ben is her new baby boy and he had a bit of a rough start to his life. But I’m so glad he came through it and is thriving! You guys have to check out Steph’s ideas for Ben’s baptism. Is this celebration going to be adorable or what?! I admit it, I am addicted to Pinterest. As soon as I received an invite, I was caught {hook, line, and sinker}. I am currently using Pinterest to help keep all of my ideas in one place for B’s upcoming Baptism.

This is the overall feel I am going for. The room we are having the party in is very open, airy, and gets a ton of light. It is decorated in neutral colors so I can really do anything. I also have a ton of white serving pieces that were my grandmother’s that I am itching to use and this would be perfect. I also plan on having touches of baby blue.

I am going to use Mason jars for centerpieces and accents on the food tables. I plan on either using baby’s breath or daisies {or both} and tying baby blue raffia around the jars. I am trying to keep this whole shing-dig simple and casual.

I really was having a hard time figuring out what to do for favors. Then I saw the cupcake in a jar. What a genius idea! I also figure I won’t have to get a cake a now. Everyone will have a personal cupcake.
