Day 12 -
I did level 2 for the second time last night. This time was better. I was still really out of breath but the exercises felt a bit easier. Probably because I knew what to expect.
The difference in my energy level is amazing. Although I’m tired at night I still want to be able to keep up with my kiddos because they don’t stop until they’re asleep! I want those hours after work to be quality hours. I also want to be able to run and keep up with them at the park or in the backyard. Exercising, no matter how hard, is the way to increase my energy and endurance.
I can also tell the difference in how I feel when I eat better. Yesterday I ate healthier and my stomach doesn’t hurt as much or feel so bloated. I am still trying to drink as much water as possible. This is a challenge for me because I’ve just never been a huge fan of plain water. I bought one of those water cups with a straw and it seems like I drink more from that than a regular cup. Whatever works, right?
One thing is for sure. My diet needs to change. Not because I want to lose weight. But because I have stomach issues almost every night. I was actually tested for celiac disease last fall but the test was negative. I think I want to be tested again as I’ve heard that false negatives are common when it comes to this test.
I could have a food allergy of some sort. It would not surprise me. Or it could be that I eat like crap. I have been collecting new recipes and want to start menu planning again. Maybe buy a couple of healthy cookbooks. No matter what I just need to stop eating fast food. I know it’s terrible for me. But sometimes I break.
