31 Days of the Shred: Day 25

Day 25 -

I feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. There are only five days left in the 31 Days challenge. Which means there are only five days left to write about my journey with the 30-day shred. Even though I will continue on after I’m done with 31 Days I will probably not write about it every single day. I’ll just write one post when I have finished making up my skipped days.

I did the work out last night even though my legs were so sore from the night before. It really is a great workout if you’re looking to get a jump start on exercising. That being said, I fully believe in giving your body a break. My hope after this is done will be to work out every other day. I find that if I skip two days I kind of feel like giving up altogether. So I can’t allow myself too much freedom because I’ll lose momentum.

I’m thinking about what I want to do next. Possibly a running program like C25K. I’ve heard good things about it. Problem is finding time to do it. Either way I’m looking forward to how my exercising future will play out.

The holidays are coming up shortly and we all know what a challenge it can be to exercise and eat right during this time. There’s no shortage of goodies to eat and it’s just so cold outside that it’s hard to get moving. But I hope I can keep some type of exercising up. We do belong to a community center so there are always classes I can join. We’ll have to see!

  1. So awesome that you’re doing this. It’s a tough workout! I’m going to have to start doing something like this soon to get rid of the baby pudge.

I’m like you – if I miss more than a day I lose momentum. Doesn’t allow for much leeway!

I’m so impressed that you have done as much as you have of the 30 Day Shred – that stuff is hard! (And level 3, that’s no joke!) I’m excited to see what kind-of results you experience when you are all done!

  3. I’ve had friends who have gotten completely buff through that program. Good luck finishing it – well – you’re in the home stretch now!

Am a first time visitor but hope to hear how you feel when it’s done!
